I forgot this blog existed. My life is so utterly different now. I used to maintain this blog as a middle schooler, then for a variety of arts classes two colleges ago (you can imagine the cringe I deleted at that time to save face). It was an outlet to my fixations at the time, one of them being the rise of Let's Player content and Gaming Personalities on YouTube.  I was a fan of many content creators. Unfortunately, almost all of them have been subject to extreme scrutiny and various cancellation attempts - for a variety of Valid reasons. I will get into this, don't worry. I have since deleted and/or privated posts singing the praises of these content creators. I don't make those decisions lightly. And in my mind, there's a difference between being embarrassed at the "cringe" nature of my "takes" a decade ago, and wanting to remove any content that praises people who have since been outed as groomers, predators, abusers, racists, and even fascist...

Hey Mark. You're probably not going to see this, given every bit of a mail you get, but I have to get this off my chest.  & you have to know what's happening.  What’s REALLY happening. Let me start off with this: I have been a committed fan since September 2012.  I have been an active member of the community on Tumblr [I remember when it was EMPTY & literally only me & six other people posting videos.]  I have been to a number of livestreams & donated to a number of charities.  I’ve been a part of many Facebook groups that have come & gone.  & I have gotten to know other Markiplier fans in schools & communities that I have been in.  Believe me when I say that I adore you & this channel.  You inspire me to be a better person with your charity work.  You have been the reason I keep going through tough times in my life.  You have been a motivation for us all. Even More Cuckoo

You thought you had enough of the Cuckoo meta?  But we've only just begun. WARNING: YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE IS TRASH & SO ARE YOU. This was originally posted on my tumblr blog aaaay. Bought a few books for last semester that we didn’t even use.  Might as well read them just to make myself feel better.  I’m actually going to keep   Devotional Cinema , by Nathaniel Dorsky, & it inspired me to write more about how much   I really don’t like that movie .  I’m not done with the book yet so I might add more to this post or make another one @ a later time.  :] tl/dr:   While the movie was still “well-made,” to the point where it received high critical praise & multiple Academy Awards, it had   none of the magic   of the book.  & even with all its praise, it did not make me feel devoted to it – unlike Kesey’s novel.  Dorsky begins his lecture describing religious devotion to film – which can also be ...
