TH E O K ID

TH E O K ID is a collection of sounds made in the New Temple of Planetary Transcendence from May 2012 - April 2013. NoFace Prophet Ollie Kaufmann pens poetry guised as rap over psychedelic jazz influenced electronic beats produced by either NoFace Prophet and BLQ MJK head producer QABALA th LOK, or close NoFace associates and electronic producers from the Allston underground including: LiL TExAS and CZ from M|O|D, MODULOKTOPUS, Atwell Baker, Avila Santo, Pon(d)Scum, Victory Garden, Cameron Steele, and Shaky Lion.

Ex-classmate from James Logan High School in Union City has been working on tracks in Boston.  Give it a listen.  If you're into the sounds the above blurb describes, this is for you.  Kaufmann references to pop culture & "intellectual themes" fast, faster than your mind can race awake in the morning, staring up into the ceiling with insomnia.  Stay with his flow, weaving in & out of the excellent meticulously crafted beats, constantly changing, evolving, breathing.  You will not be disappointed.  This truly has been a labor of love by a team of talented individuals.

& try out some of music videos, like Jeune Sartre:

An homage to Marcel Duchamp, the Dada movement, Karl Marx and various other influences of Ollie Kaufmann. Jeune Sartre is a single off of Ollie's up and coming album

& goddamn, it makes me proud to see my classmates do well with their artistic endeavors.  It’s a fantastic feeling.
