Still not liking this new interface... but whatever

Art teacher requires us to make a blog for his class.  That seems simple enough.  Except, like I've said, I'm on the tumblr drug.

I take pride in the clusterfuck that thing is tealrallythong.  It's everything that I am & I update as much as I possibly can.

This, on the other hand, I'm not so certain.

A could copy-paste the about me I have on that blog... but I won't.

I'll just be pretty straight-forward about big interests:

  • photojournalism - since I hope to be in that field.  I'm big on exposing truths & I'd like to partake in the neo-muckraker movement of social awareness eventually
  • food - I'm a fattie
  • profanity - I'll try to abstain here, but no promises [wait I already violated whatever uptight rule "professional" people have created with clusterfuck... oh well]
  • Damon Albarn related music projects - because he is my world.  One of the better musicians of our time.  I mean he's only created a Chinese opera, a magical musical, a cartoon band, 3 or 4 supergroups, his teenage boy band, wonderful song lyrics, & a shitload of other things.  The man just embodies creation.
  • Fringe - the tv show; it is the perfect mix of horror, sci-fy, romance, & existentialism.  Unfortunately it's entering its last season... but it one of the best made things out there.  There's epic cinematography, gory stories, high-end science, & human relationships.  & the latter really makes the show, especially with the talented actors that are really underappreciated by the world
  • Giants - right now I've tapered myself away from that drug since I've been so busy, but it really is an obsession.
  • Tim Lincecum - especially.  Favorite player.  That kind of rhetoric.  Too bad his pitching has been really not that great as of late.  yeah.
  • reading & writing in general - I'm a nerd.  I write furiously in books I read.  I highlight & underline & jot notes & little reactions.  People get appalled & accuse me of malicious book acts.  Chillax, broski.
  • graphics in general - I don't make them, but I love to just save other people's work on my desktop & gaze fondly @ it from time to time
  • sports... like when the Olympics happened - like that took over my life.  Good thing it's only for 2 weeks
  • "social justice" - it has a bad name, but it's really just awareness of our world @ large.  & I like to be aware.  & just open your eyes.  We DO live in a shady world; a shady world that caters to the patriarchy of white, cis, rich, able-bodied, "attractive" males
  • well artsy fartsy stuff sometimes - I'm a sucker for Jamie Hewlett.  & the impressionists.  & mainly a lot of modern artists.
  • I just like to learn, really
  • I'll stop for now

Right now [like honestly like in the past week or so] I'm really into:

  • Slenderman / SCP related youtube vids - they really give me a good scare; I'm lucky I haven't had any nightmares...  but they're really fun
  • Superjail - it reminds me of Happy Tree Friends, except it has better character development & really intriguing art.  My favorite character is The Mistress, followed by The Twins.  Of course tumblr has given it the Supernatural - Onceler - Homestuck - every anime ever treatment of fetishizing the cis guys & pairing them all together.  That's where all the hate from The Mistress comes from.  It's a shame
  • misandry - I'm kidding I'm not kidding I'm kidding I'm not kidding
  • all the hot people in my sociology 101 class...
  • I'm on this Damon Albarn kick - it's an unsustainable rate.  I go through these spells, but so does he.  It's not my fault he'll just come out with EVERYTHING @ the same time.  Comeback tour 2.0, the Olympics, Africa Express... & before that he had new Blur material.  & before that it was this other supergroup.  & before that...
  • I wish that TRON: Uprising thing would come back faster - because I'm really into that.  I'm really into TRON in general.
  • Lee Pace looks really hot as the Elven King.
I think I'm done.
